Costa Rican rapper Nakury collaborates with Texan producers Gio Chamba & Principe Q on “Prisma”, a radiating cumbia that showcases the different colors of love. In this song, Nakury reflects her perspective on life and love while Gio Chamba & Principe Q combine their guitars and synthesizers over the rhythm of the guacharaca. Nakury met the refreshing duo Gio Chamba in 2018 during her participation at SXSW Music Festival (Austin, TX) and has since kept in touch. The talented Principe Q, nephew of queen of tejano music Selena and oldest son of A.B. Quintanilla from the Kumbia Kings, joins this collaboration and together they elevate the sound of modern cumbia. “Prisma” releases Wednesday 22 May 2022 via Lácteo Cósmico.
